Daniel Sims lives in Fairfax, Virginia and recently graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor Arts degree in Journalism.

While at George Mason, Daniel wrote for the school news website Connect Mason. Since 2004 Daniel has written freelance for the news site Gaming Evolution and maintained a personal blog at 1up.com. An avid gamer, Daniel's work mostly consists of game reviews published at the above sites. While writing for Connect Mason however, Daniel also helped cover the local lifestyle scene near his home in Fairfax.

Currently still on the hunt for a full-time job which he hopes will lead to a life in games journalism, Daniel keeps himself occupied with his personal blog and his freelance work.
